Sadly it's true. The outside world does not admire headdresses of any sort. It secretly loathes them to the point of wishing for their banishment to the deepest circles of Dante's inferno.

But I appreciate them. I see their potential as protection, as a way to make the wearer become another person, as entertainment. So I wear them.
